Hi, I'm Nancy Summitt, one of Midland's music teachers for the 2012/2013 school year. I'm excited to be on the faculty of Midland School District. This is my sixth year as a music teacher. I majored in Instrumental Music Education at Arkansas Tech University. I'm also certified to teach Vocal Music Education as well as Survey of Fine Arts. While my major instrument is French horn, I can also play violin and piano. I love music, and hope to inspire my students to love it, too.

Midland is now offering 5th and 6th grade beginning band. We meet once a week during the general music class time on the stage. Our newest additions are:
