Below is some great information from PBS.  This will help with AMI as well as providing support if needed.

PBS AMI Assistance

Midland prom will be postponed.  The Wedding Barn is working with us to reschedule when things return to normal.  Juniors, continue selling your tickets for the half and half raffle.  We will draw a winner when we return to school.

Good afternoon.

Here is an update on what Midland is doing during the Covid-19 school closure through Spring Break.

We are providing AMI packets for students to complete Tuesday, March 17th through Friday, March 20th.  No AMI packets will be sent out during Spring Break.  Governor Asa Hutchison has asked that all schools stay closed until April 17th.  Our tentative return date would be April 20th.

Beginning Tuesday, March 17th, we will have grab and go breakfast and lunches at each campus to be picked up by those parents that indicated they would like the meals and whether you plan to pick them up or have them delivered.  Pickup and delivery will be between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm.  We will deliver those that indicated they do not have transportation to pick up meals.  If you did not speak to a person from Midland today but they left a message, you may call the building your child attends by 9 am in the morning to have a meal put together for them.

There will be no after school programs of any kind during this time.  That includes athletics.  The AAA has designated this a dead week for athletics which means our campus cannot be used for sports of any kind.

We appreciate your patience as we work through this week and getting you the meals you requested.  If you have any questions please contact the building principal of the school your child attends.

Thank you

Dewayne Wammack
